He didn't have too much time to think though, because then he tripped on his feet or something. Smooth moves, there Reita. Hell the fuck ye--...
Or maybe Kai had come at him. Maybe he was too caught up in those other thoughts to hear anything beforehand either, but now he was, quite definitely, listening. And, just the same, Kai was shouting. And he was only shouting... straight down at him.
As if he were the main cause of his problems! Reita held back a smile and a laugh, because it may have been a beggar's move to get physically harmed, and let the brunette finish his ramble. The laugh would have been at that little dramatic outburst at the end, anyways. Even though Reita could see the lonliness in those angry eyes and even though Reita saw the same thing when he looked into a mirror, he couldn't say that he felt terrible about pushing the other so far. Maybe that was just what he needed.
He got up and dusted himself off slowly, starting at light jog towards the brunette, slowing just enough to keep up with the quick, angry pace. He slowed to a walk and frowned slightly, mildly guilty, but not enough for him to kill himself over it. Crossing his arms over his chest, he let out a small sigh and nudged shoulders with the shorter, just enough to get his attention but hopefully not so much so that he'd "trip" again.
"How is it...?" he asked softly, "Does it hurt?" he was referring to that little bite that he'd put on for no real reason. He leaned forward to ask another question, but he couldn't see past the hair.
Hoo~ Okay. Now he was feeling a little bad. Straightening his back, he looked to the ceiling, hoping that being this close was pushing any buttons. He'd do what he could to mend it now, but if Kai didn't want to forgive him, then so be it. Reita was just trying to give his concern for someone who had brightened up his day.
